Ca' Foscari University of Venice
Founded on August 6, 1868 as Advanced School for Commerce, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice was the first institution in Italy to deal with higher education in the field of Business and Economics. Its main office is still located in the great Gothic palace on the Canal Grande, in the heart of Venice.
Ca’ Foscari is a leading university for academic excellence, aiming to attract and promote talent on a global scale. It offers highly qualified education and promotes frontier research, through the active application of physical sciences and digital sciences to a century-old tradition rooted in the economics and management (best 300 QS rankings), social sciences, languages (world top 100) and humanities. The exploration of new directions in cutting-edge research is consequently at the core of several projects and interdisciplinary research groups who address the global challenges of the present and the future through national and international collaborations.

Ca’ Foscari values research and teaching results and strives to transform them into opportunities for economic and social growth for the territory: in 2016 a dedicated unit was established to promote the transfer of technology and knowledge between the academic world and the private sector.
PInK - Promoting Innovation and Knowledge is the office of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice that supports the exploitation of the university’s research results to facilitate university-business collaborations and to foster knowledge sharing between different scientific and technological areas.
Companies and organizations have a dedicated interface to access the technologies and competencies available at the University, to establish collaborations and to develop research and innovation in partnership. Through a team of knowledge transfer managers, strategic and legal advisors and communicators, PInK offers a series of tailor-made services to meet the necessities and challenges of companies.
